Hey fellow foodies!
At the weekend, my boyfriend and I decided to pop to Bayley and Sage in Wimbledon Village. I found SO many gluten free treats, I just HAD to share with you all! I obviously couldn’t be a greedy pig and buy them all in one go.. But did buy a few things and will certainly go back again soon to try some more as it’s my favourite local independent supermarket by far!
I found Squirrel Sisters’ Coconut Cashew raw energy bar which sounds great! It’s gluten free, dairy free and has no added sugar. Anyone else absolutely obsessed with anything coconut-related? I’ve tried the raspberry ripple bar of theirs before and it was yummy (and healthy too!). These Manomasa Chipotle and Lime tortilla chips were amazing – a brilliant combination of smoky chipotle chilli, zesty lime, red bell peppers, guajillo chilli and toasted pumpkin seeds. Greedy pig alert: munched them all in one sitting.. oops.
A couple of drink-related items I found. First of all, Bayley and Sage has one of the best selection of Teapigs, perfect if you’re a big fan like moi! This chamomile flavour is probably my favourite as it is soothing but refreshing as the same time, I choose to drink it at any time of the day. Secondly, I found this amazing looking coconut water (see, it really is an obsession!) which I’m still intrigued to try. It’s called Raw King Coconut Water by Cocosova, it’s pink and 100% organic!
I also found some naughty but nice gluten free treats. The ‘Mojo Bar’ which is a raw salted caramel fudge, enriched with libido boosting superfoods. It’s not only gluten free, vegan, dairy free and refined sugar free, but it’s also packed with protein, magnesium and vitamin C. Nomnom Honeycomb chocolate and Joe & Seph’s Salted Caramel Gourmet Popcorn were also found. I saved the best until last… Bayley and Sage’s very own gluten free salted caramel brownie. It is honestly the best brownie I’ve ever eaten.. so good that I get one almost every time I’m in the Wimbledon Village area.
